Remedy as company not paying salary as employee wants to leave

Hi Team, Recently i joined a company and after one month of working i didn't find comfortable over there to work. And now i told HR about my working status with company. & Now HR is saying that they cannot pay the salary for a last month. So i need your valuable advice what should i do. Right now i am having company provided Laptop and HR asked me to return that and for sure i am going to return it but what about my salary for last month which they are not providing. Please help me in this regards

Hi,

You have given them services for one month and therefore it becomes your legal right to recover salary for the same. You have not descrived the nature of job and employmwnt mode, therfore the general suggestion woukd be that you can file the suit for recovery if it is a private job. Onother suggestion that please do not return the laptop and mention that in pleading. So that nothing wrong is there on you part.
