Reinstate on service after completing his sentence in criminal case

Sir, i am serving in Pb. Govt. Edu. Deptt. I was falsely implicated in a criminal case, in which session coyrt convict me for 7 years. Now i complete my sentence. My appeal is pending in HC. Deptt shows me absent till date. Can i reinstate on my service ? Is any Sc or Hc direction or service guidelines regarding this. Please clarify my doubt and guide me in this subject.
No, you cannot reinstate your service. as once a person is convicted or punishment under law in our country then the person is terminated with immediate effects from the job. there is no point in appealing or filling any suit in the High Court or SC.
