Regarding non payment of salary and immediate termination

I got terminated by my employer on 10th of July on immediate basis, without any prior notice. They committed to pay my 10 days of salary by 5th of August. Today is 7th of Aug but they haven't paid my salary and aren't replying to my calls and emails. Also, the immediate termination was within probation period, so are they liable to pay any severance amount?

Hello I have perused your query. In these circumstances you have an option to file a complaint for illegal termination of the employment. Moreover, you can also send a legal notice regarding recovery of dues and thereafter file a suit for recovery in a competent court of law.

A careful perusal of your employment agreement is pertinent in order to give an effective opinion. What was the reason behind such hasty termination? Do you have email correspondence as proof of promise of payment of 10 days salary?

I have perused your query and would advise you to issue a strongly worded legal notice to the concerned directors of the company seeking salary amount failing which you have an option to file a suit for recovery of dues and in the competent court of law.
