Recvd recovery notice from ex employer

Recvd recovery email for not serving one mnth notice even I was there for one month only and not a confirmed employee. They've sent an mail with cc some lawyer . Please help

Hello sir. I have perused your legal query. As long as you were on probation and not a confirmed employee, you are not liable to serve the one month notice period and no legal action may be taken against you. However, to advise you better the terms of your employment contract would have to be read. Please feel free to reach out to me in case you wish to discuss the matter in more detail.

1. please do check your contract thoroughly if the contract was signed between you and employer. read all the terms and conditions whether there was any clause that says the one month notice has to be give by the employee before resignation.
2. Do confirm whether you were they're employee or not. if you were not his employee then you're not liable to pay single penny to him moreover you might not have signed any contract I suppose.
