Rank is higher but getting lesser salary than my juniors

I had joined a central govt job on 19/01/2009 after qualifying a interview process. in that process and present seniority list of my dept i am senior to those who have appointed with me in my batch. due to late receive of the appointment letter i have joined late than my other batch mates. mean while 6th CPC implemented in the central govt. for this reason my batch mates who have joined in DEC 2008 got a increment in the July 2009 but i could not. due to this reason i am getting lesser pay then my juniors. and unfortunately in the 7th CPC this gap become more. please guide me what can i do to resolve this pay anomaly issue.
Hi, will glad to help you. Date of appointment always decides your date of promotion, date of increment and other benefits. You can approach central administrative tribunal for redressal of your grievance.

If you have received your appointment letter late not due to your own fault, then you should have filed a representation to this effect with the competent authority within a year of joining. However if the fact of your seniority has come to you recently then you may file a representation with the competent authority and in case you do not get redressal of your grievance from your department then you may approach the Central Administrative Tribunal. You may take my assistance at a very reasonable cost.
