Query regarding salary not being paid by company

Query: I worked with a housing firm for 26 days and resigned due to working environment over there and its almost 53 days now and i still haven't received my salary nor they are picking up my calls or replying to my mails. I only have the offer letter with me right now.Can i file a case against them.Kindly help.

Yes you truly deserve your salary for working there for 26 days. You please send them a legal notice for remitting your salary for the number of days u worked for the firm or they will face lwgal consequences. Get a legal notice sent through a practising advocate.

Please take note of following -
1. You can take up your issue of salary and paper work regarding your exit confirmation by way of legal processes wherein -
(a) it is required from your side to sent them a legal notice asking for your dues,
(b) to come up with a case if this issue is not resolved up by following the step (a).
However, it would be better if you could show us the offer letter and any other paper which is related to your job at your previous organization so that one may be more accurate in his answer to the query raised over here.

You can send a legal notice through a lawyer for payment of your dues.
If the company does not respond your notice you can file a civil recovery suit asking for your dues. Remember you will be required to pay Court Fees on amount claimed
