Query regarding in absentia relieving of duty

Hi, My husband got transfered and he went on medical leave.his transfer was not on his willing and a false willing was given.he was relieved in absentia on 28 sept.he is a class one officer and was sent a mail regarding his leave on 3rd of Oct .After settlement of his transfer issue he rejoined at his original place of posting after availing medical leave.now the immediate boss is under intense pressure of the people who pursued his transfer and not accepting his joining.please help me is there anything called as relieving in absentia and what is right under CCS rules

You can file a case against the transfer and the relieving order on the ground that your husband was not given a chance to put forth his case as he was released in absentia without any valid reason. You can also file a Right to Information application seeking answers to the query
