Promotion was delayed by the company

Dear sir, I was eligible for my next promotion last year, but the institute has recruited the 5 nos. of same position , now they are giving me my promotion after 6 months, but fresher's are now senior to me at this time, can I do something in this case
It a settled law that one can not forced bro work under his subordinates. Since you case seems to be covered by the above proposition of law, you can surely stake a claim as to seniority as against the said Freshers.

You must challenge the order passed by your institution which provides you promotion after six months, and claim for your back dated seniority and also for consequntial monetary benefits without any further delay.
