Promotion not given by company, what action can be taken

I am rly employ over mldt divn .I passed the suitability test for promotion from Sr Bc to H Bc on 31st 5 2004 all are promoted from Aug 2004 except me due to D&a case. The case finalised on 26 4 2006 but promoted me from Aug 2008 in place of Aug 2004
You need to file a writ in the high court. You can only get in the court of law but there is also one way to submit your redressal to your higher and appellate authority and then only you after exhaust your rights from appellant authority.
