Professor Termination without citing any reason in probation ?

28-Apr-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
Hi I have been served termination letter in probation that simply say" we regret to inform you that we don't need your service from 24th onwards" As per appointment letter they have given me 1 month notice pay. Can a termination be done so easily without citing any reason ? Also not mentioning any reason in the termination letter means they may not be satisfied with my performance. Can this sustain in court of law?

MY OPINION THAT i have follow your present story,i think that you have legitimate right to get chance to explain from your side, before the termination process affect as well as ,in the termination letter the cause of termination clearly explained.

Are you in the management cadre or non-management cadre? For management cadre , your services to be governed by Service Rules. For non-management cadre, Standing Orders to be followed.
In absence of such services Rules/standing orders , the principles of natural justice must be followed.
You have legal right to sue your employer for lawful remedy.

Its very difficult to advice to your query without looking into the documents related. Firstly i need to know whether your employer is a Government Organisation or Private or semi-Government or school or college, secondly i need to peruse your employers service rules, thirdly notices of termination and pre-termination are to be looked into for advising. Primarily it looks like your termination can be challenged, and it will sustain.
