Previous company want me to pay 1.5lakh to get relieving letter

hello sir, i have joined my previous company in month of jan 2015. they made me sign two bond 1st at jan(as trainee) second when they have made me permanent Aug 15. bond states that i have to pay 1.5l damages to company if i breach the contract(simple plain paper without any witness). i don't want to give such huge amount to them. i have convience them settle for three month salary which they are not accepting. my previous company having so many negative points like irregularities in pf ,no medical allowance (but mention in offer letter),never get salary in time,..etc what should i do

The law in this regard is that in case the employer spends any amount of imparting special training to its employees,he has a right to recover the loss in case he isn't able to use the skills of the employee so trained in case of his early departure by way of resignation before the date stipulated in the contract.
However this has some riders and the employer may not force you to serve with him.
In case you leave early , in order to recover any amount from you in case of your early resignation the employer will have to prove actual loss suffered by him and not the amount as stated in the bond.
