19-May-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
I had served LIC of India for 17 Years and thereafter I quit the company. I had opted for employers pension scheme. Howe er I have bee told that the pension is payable only after having served the company for a minimum period of 20 years. Is there any way I can get proportional pension for the 17 years I served LIC of India

The minimum eligibility period for receipt of pension is 10 years. A Central Government servant retiring in accordance with the Pension Rules is entitled to receive superannuation pension on completion of at least 10 years of qualifying service.
