My senior at work sent me some obscene messages on my whatsapp, whether is it legal to share pornographic images in India and what action can I take against him?

you can file police complaint, as it is a criminal offence.
My advice is at first step you can discuss it with your seniors, even then if he did not stop then approach the police.
There is special law to stop such type of teasing the employees on work.
