Not relieved from company as case is pending in vigilance commission

I am working in PSU. I joined the company in 2013, i am working as a officer. Now in 2015 i given my resignation. There is a notice period of 3 months. After adjusting my notice period and paid leaves, i was supposed to finish my job and get my relieving letter by 11th dec. Till date there is no reply from the company. On asking the company, they are saying that a vigilance case is pending against me and they will only relieve me after vigilance case is completed. No the case is not completed. Do i have to wait for indefinite time? What action can i take?
You may bring to the notice of your department that the Hon'ble Supreme Court has recently held that all the departmental inquiries should be completed within a period of six months. If six months period has lapsed in your enquiry then you may approach the HC in writ Jurisdiction after making adequate representation to your company.

Please look into your appointment letter what does it say about termination of job in case you are involved in any case.if nothing is spelled out and you have given the required legal notice you can terminate your work.
