non implementation of interim order of High Court
03-Sep-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
Respected Sir, I have participated in the promotion process and qualified but refused to give the promotion by the management then I have filed a writ petition for consideration of my promotion in Honorable High Court then High Court has directed the respondents to consider my promotion through interim orders with in the two weeks of time but they filed a counter affidavit and not implemented the interim orders. So I hereby requesting you to please suggest me what to do now?
Hi
In general Interim orders are not liable for contempt of high court.
However if you have enough evidence to show that the officials ignored the High court direction and did not consider your application as per orders, you may bring it up again on the next hearing as and when listed.
