No salary release after resignation What action can be taken

23-Jul-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
I worked for a private school for 1.5 months. Due to some disagreement with the management, I needed to resign with immediate effect. The school did not release any of my salary for 1.5 months and was telling me that I have not served the notice period of 1 month. My offer letter does not mention any words on notice period. How can I get my salary from school?

The initial step for recovery of your pending salary is to send a legal notice to the school since there was no notice period clause in the offer letter which was given to you at the time of joining,

In the legal notice provide a stipulated time to return the money failing to do so, you would require to file a civil suit for recovery in the concerned civil court. Please note that you will have to pay the corresponding court fee as per the amount of recovery to file the recovery suit.
