Need help for understand about suspension rules for a Govt. Employee

will a teacher be suspended for not attending on independence day at school as he was ill?
if you was really ill on the day of independence day and have any medical certificate of your illness, the authority has no power to suspend you. If you are suspen now go to court for your relief. There is no any rule of suspension if anyone is absent if he is illness.
