Legality of e-stamp agreement with a company

Sir, I have signed a e-stamp in a company and In that stamp paper it is written that if I leave the company before 6 months training period then we have to pay the amount which company had paid to us in that duration So I want to this type e-stamp paper agreement is legal or not or it is just for formality
Basically taking undertaking from the employees are not encouraged by different courts and statutes, however to give you specific reply need to understand type of training; expenses as well related documents
