Legal remedy against unlawful termination of contract employee

Iam working in educational office since 7 years but now I had accident last 5 months before doctor said take rest of the 7 months but my Meo is remove my job iam a contract employee.What legal remedy do I have?
There are two options in this case that one you can go for the laws and provisions in contract act and file a case in that regard. Secondly you can also file a recovery suit for the recovery of the due money (if any). However you can also file a complaint in the police station for the offence of cheating defined under section 415 of the Indian penal code
