Legal remedies available against an abusive supervisor at workplace
02-Aug-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
I have been working as a Subject Matter Expert in a private firm. My team leader is verbally and emotionally abusive which has been reported to the manager and HR on multiple occasions but he hasn't changed his behaviour. How should I handle this scenario legally and what are the evidence should I provide?
Hi, I suggest you to record the conversation in future with your Team Leader. This is sufficient to prove if he uses abusive language. Please lodge a police complaint of criminal intimidation under section 506 of IPC and if police refuse to accept the compliant, then file a case in the court section 156(3) CRPC to direct police to investigate and submit report.
