Legal implications of working for an indian firm from abroad

18-Nov-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
Wanted to seek your guidance on a query related to international mobility. One of my friends is employed with an Indian firm. He is planning to move to Dubai on spouse sponsored visa. He would continue to be employed with the Indian firm but wanted to work from his spouse's Dubai home using "Work from Home" facility. He will not consider any sort of employment in UAE and will remain a tax payer in India. Can this arrangement have any legal implication? Will it cause any adverse legal impact on his employment? Though he is keeping his employer informed about the plan, he wanted to check the legal aspect as well. Would be great to hear from you in case you know about this.
