Legal action against company not providing relieving letter

i have resigned in my present company and serve three month notice period after that company is not agree for give me reliving letter and company is not accepting my resignation but i can not continue my job because some personal problem so i want reliving letter by company therefor what can i do.
First we should know what is the reason why company is not giving relieving letter to u. If in a employment agreement it is clearly mentioned that before leaving a company notice period of 3 months should be given and again as per the agreement if u issued notice of leaving if again there not ready to accept your termination notice we need to check the reason of it via legal notice only pls contact your lawyer
