Left the company and they hold my salary what can i do now

Hi, i need a suggestion that i had just left the company without informing the management, although they didnt had any notice period or any bond they had put my previous month salary on hold. what action can i take on that.
yes, the company can hold your salary on the grounds of you absconding from work. it is advisable that you officially resign from the company and clear all your dues and get full and final settlement and a relieving letter so that you can apply for new job
