Left job after a month do I to serve notice period
09-Feb-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
I just wanted to that I was working as a consultant in a firm where i was still on probationary period for three months but i quit working after taking my first months salary. Now when i resigned after a month, the director of the firm gave me two options: 1.which is is giving the payment of 9 days of my salary for waiving the notice period and 2.Working for 15 days with them for serving notice period. I'm not sure that I am liable to pay anything as i was on probationary period and even if i work for 15 days and i wont be productive. so what is the solution for this ?
It's depend on contract signed by you with the company, its not necessary you have to pay depending upon the terms and conditions of the contract, for better answer please provide copy of contract for better opinion.
Please check all legal documents entered into before starting the probationary period .
Be sure there is no liability against you to avoid any ramification .
However , is your query pertaining to the liability of a person working on probationary period ?
Thanks
