As per the recent development in law made by the Supreme Court and various High Courts, such bonds are lopsided and are not legal and enforceable under law.

You can send a legal notice to the company for asking for your dues.

If the company takes any legal action against you to ask for the bond amount, you must contest it in the court of law as the enforcement of these employment bonds is not maintainable under law.

First , you should have informed the company about your problem befre hand and about your plans to quit. The consequences that will ensue depend on the Contract you signed and the clause governing your "Bond amount" . It is very important that the contract signed by you the clauses therein , the offer and apintment letter be studied before stating anything. However , the companies do this arm twisting to extract the money which they otherwise wnt get it through court , but if some of that money is spent on your training then that needs to be recoverred by you in a reasonable manner.
