Is Company allowed to terminate my employment without notice period?

29-Oct-2024 (In Labour & Service Law)
I have been working with said Company for less than 3 months. My employment agreement states that I have to serve 1 month of notice period or equal payment if I wish to leave. Does the same hold for the Company even if it isn't explicitly mentioned? Does the Company owe me any remuneration for termination without notice?

Technically yes. But, if the contract is devoid of that condition, it may be termed as void ab initio and the contract can be challenged in the Court of Law. You need to go through the contract thoroughly in order to be certain as to what all discrepancies are there.

You should Seek a legal opinion by taking an appointment. Contents od your employment letter needs to be legally perused before tendering an appropriate opinion with regard to the notice period pay liability of the company.
