Is a Freelancer contract on Plain Paper valid in Indian court of Law?

01-Feb-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
I am an Indian Freelancer. Is an Agreement on Plain Paper with Signatures of Manager(s) of an Organization valid in Indian Court of law, in case there is a breach of contract? Would an agreement on Letterhead of the company make any difference? Also, is the same agreement valid for International clients? What legal measures can I take to secure myself as a Freelancer in case of International clients?

This is my response to you: 1. This is a valid contract but not binding in the eyes of law; 2. Though if there is a dispute then this contract will be considered; 3. You will have to share more information and discuss full facts of the case; 4. Consult a local lawyer and take steps.
