27-May-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
I am an indian working in Singapore on employment pass . I shall be retiring from he current employment and planning to return to Chennai. before the current employment i was employed by a US organisation in their singapore office . While joining that (US)organisation i signed the CNSA under texas laws and jurisdiction. That organisation has sought legal proceedings against me in texas court and the case is scheduled for jan 2018 by which time i am planning to return to India . Though there is no merit int hat case and all are false charges I dont intend to fight in Texas court it is very costly and i cannot afford the cost of litigation. What are the options available to me . On hearing from you i can send all documents for you to study and advise me on this . Can i file a case against that company in india for harassing me and causing me mental agony .please advsie .

The said situation is barred by the law of Jurisdiction, you being an Indian Citizen can not apply to the courts of India for taking any legal action against India. However, you can come back to India and leave the said case as it is, or you can send an application stating the reasons as to why you were not able to attend the said court proceedings.
