I resigned 8 months back now employer not acknowledging it
12-Feb-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
I gave my resignation letter on 22-06 -2016 by registered post . The receipt of the same was acknowledged by my employer through post. After 7 months , my employer is saying that I did not mention the phrase "with immediate effect" in the resignation letter and hence asking me to make a representation on the same.
In my resignation letter , date and time and reasons is clearly mentioned.
Hello,
To advice you properly I need to see the actual resignation letter. You also did not mention whether your employer sent you the acceptance letter. I need few details to advice you. Please feel free to contact me with the papers which will enable me to answer your query properly.

MY OPINION THAT in your resignation letter if you have clearly mentioned the purpose and real cause for your resignation then you have sufficient prove to resign from the post,if your said employer not accept your resignation then you many legal potions to take steps accordingly.
