I have resigned, not willing to sere 1 month notice period, 15 days ok

HI I have joined on Jan 11, 2021 and resigned on March 24th, 2021. amy employer is asking to serve 1 month notice period as it was mentioned in offer letter, i can not serve as i have an urgent vacant opportunity where they have asked me to join on immediate basis and have given me time till 9th April, i am okay with serving 15 days notice period but not more than that. what should i do? should i abscond? what are the ways to get out of it.

you have to compensate one month salary to your employer as per the agreement j of you are not ready to serve one month notice period, you can't leave suddenly when you got the opportunity, or request your employer expressing your difficulties
