How ton deal with non cooperative employer

My husband has just given his resignation. His appointment letter states that it is 30 days. After a oral communication with his boss he agreed for 45 days. Now on mail trials they are asking for more 1 month. How do we deal with this
You can ask company for quicker process to relieve your husband from his duties. But in case still the process gets delayed without reasonable explanation then you can file a complaint against the employer for undue delay in releasing your retirement benefits and payments such as pension, gratuity benefit. You can send him a legal notice through a lawyer demanding explanation for unnecessary delay.
