Forceful termination by company as company shutting down

28-May-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
I am working as a Team Lead in a BPO in Malad. In December the management announced verbally that our process is shutting down. They asked us to find a new job and we have till end of June. They also told us that they will try to place us in a different location in Mumbai. Till now we are not placed and they stated that we would have to quit by end of June without severance compensation. I have been with the company for more than 9 years.

This is my response to you:
1. You will need to read the terms of your employment;
2. You will need to also read the terms and conditions stating within what time frame they will be reinstate you somewhere else?
3. You will need to send them a legal notice since June is ending;
4. You will also need to file a complaint to the labour commissioner regarding your state of affairs;
6. If they still don't respond well approach High Court immediately under the qualms of writ jurisdiction.
