Hi,

LTC is admissible to the employee and his/her dependent family members. Since your father is pensioner he is not counted as dependent on you (Financially). LTC is not admissible to non-dependent parents. LTC is also not admissible to employed son and married daughter. However, you need to read the departmental LTC rules you will find the LTC is rightly not admissible for pensioner parents. Regards

if Father is NOT dependent on employee , father's immediate family i.e. his wife (employee's mother),daughter (employee's sister),son( employee's brother) CANNOT be treated employee's dependent family members for LTC purposes. (Rule 4) . In this case since your father is a pensioner, therefore, he and your mother are not entitled for LTC.
