Father got acquitted from the charges but no payment made by govt stil

My father is in a government job is in 2002 my father was charged under a case and in 2007 he was acquitted from all the cases now it has been many years since then. but government has not paid the amount still. How can we take legal against it ?

Any lawyer needs to read the judgement/ order passed to see what consequential benefits has allowed then only one can decide the next step. So please send your Oder and also specify as to which payment you are referring to in your query.
