Ex- employers denies to pay pending salary

11-Nov-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
I was working "Work from Home" for a Delhi based marketing company since Jul'15. The salary which was paid by cheque was always delayed. For the month of Sep'16 i got the cheque in the month of Nov'16 and that was the last salary i got till i resigned on mar'16 due to maternity reasons. I have been chasing the company directors through calls and mails since then. They asked me time till Oct'16. They answered my call two times saying that they are busy in meetings and now they have stopped answering my calls. The total salary outstanding is close to 100000 +. Kindly advise how to proceed in this situation.

It is the statutory liability of the company to provide the monthly salary to the employee on the specified date, under the labor law.

All the conduct of the company, as averted above is contrary to Law.
you are legally entitle to get your monthly salary.
It would be advisable to send the Legal Notice to the company, at their known address, or the owner/director of the company.
