Employer releasing Termination letter against me

My Notice period is 30 days in my current company, and I'm only able to serve 17 days of notice because I need to leave the company early. But employer is saying that they will release an absconding letter against me even after serving 17 days notice and paying out for my remaining notice days.

You may inform them through email, which I think you might have done already.
If they reply with any such thing on paper which is a rarity, then you may proceed to take an action under shops and establishment act or labour court. Nonetheless, go through offer letter carefully before taking any step.
