Employer increased probation period as they get know about pregnancy

My wife is working in gurgaon since 26 jun 2018....she was on 3 month probation period....but as soon as management came to know about her pregnancy they extend her probation for 1 month.....and now they are behaving quiet rudely with her....I just wanted to know as she is 2 month 15 days pregnant today can that company sack her from her job??? Regards

It can be possible to extend the probation period(it can be company policy). But this kind of situation is can be harassment to her so in this your wife can approach to HR and can also ask why probation period had extended.
