28-Sep-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)

I have resigned from my present employer in my probation period and they have accepted my resignation . But in the acceptance letter , they are asking me to pay the International travel and training cost. They didn't not inform me about the travel policy/recovery in advance before the travel and Also I have not signed any bond/service contract with employer . But now after I resigned they are asking for money . Please advice me on the same.

If you have not signed any contract or bond or nothing is mentioned in your employment contract then you are not eligible to return them any International travel cost or training cost.

We suggest you should send the HR in writing therein stating that you are not required to give the money.

However if despite the letter they do not complete your F&F, then you can send a legal notice through a lawyer.
