Employee left without notice and suspected of taking some documents
17-Aug-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
Hi 2 of our employees left without serving any notice. Some office documents went missing. What to do in such situation. They have switched off their phones. Need them to handover.
My Response to your query :
1) you have to go through the agreement signed by your employees at the time of joining.
2) you can file criminal complain against your employee. Prior to this you me send notice for intimation.
For More detail you may contact me
Thank you

This is my response to you:
1. Issue legal notice to them at their last known address;
2. Since documents are missing, file a police complaint against them;
3. You will have to take both civil and criminal action;
4. Consult a local lawyer to help/assist you with the step-by-step process.
