Eligibility for Gratuity Payment in a company

I had joined a company on 14th January 2017 and was relived on 17 November 2017. Am I eligble for gratuity payment. The company has more then 200 employes pan India. For four year our working was five days a week.
A person is eligible to get his gratuity paid only if he or she works in that organization for continuous five years and not before that. Since you have worked for less than a year so you are not eligible to claim gratuity and the company is not responsible to pay you the same.
