Dismissed from job on false marksheet which is not required to get job

12-Dec-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
I was in police and got job after death of father. I joined police in 2000 and was terminated in 2007, the reason was that my marksheet of high school was false. The qualification was class 5th pass. What can i do? Can i get any relief from high court?

If it is a government job or in public sector organisations, writ may be filed on the ground that high school certificate was not relevant. But you will have to show that you were class fifth psss. However high court may decline to interfere in its discretion on the ground of conduct of the person.

You were terminated because of putting on record a fake document to be as true, if the qualification required was 5th class, you should have not brought documents on records. You can be punished too for forged documents. It's a double edge sword situation , you can try fighting for it in high court . You need to check the limitation of such termination as it's already been 8 years.
