Dismissal under Karnataka civil services rules can we get back wages

Applied for medical leave instead dismissed from service by PU board. Wants to get reinstated along with all back-wages.
Termination shall be governed by the terms of the Employment contract signed at the time of employment which shall surely have some provision regarding the termination including the requirement of giving a notice period of a few days.
