Denial of Payment of gratuity on below grounds

I am a retired mechanical engineer.I had worked in their office in delhi after retirement for 4 years 10 months.My services were terminated abruptly after the opening of lockdown.I was paid for 2 months salary for april+may'20.I was promised 1 month notice period salary which has not been paid till date.Can they refuse gratuity on any grounds & if so how i am i to proceed?

I have perused the contents of your query and would advise you to seek a detailed consultancy from a lawyer having expertise. You may get a strongly worded legal notice issued through your lawyer seeking your notice pay with interest. Further better particulars are required to advise you on this issue.

No they cant refuse the gratuity. I have Judgments and law to this effect and i shall help you explain them as also the gratuity officer if need be. We can have a call to discuss this issue further and how to go about it.
