Delay no in final settlement of gratiuity

Sir, it is three months since my retirement that my employers are not ready to settle my gratiuity amount that I am due. There was suggestion from my employer to accept an amount less than I am eligible. I have rejected it and waiting . There is no response. How to proceed further.?

please send a legal notice to your previous employer clearly explaining by way of explaining the dues payable such as salary, PF, gratuity etc. if they are not replying in time you can approach Labour Commissioner or the industrial Tribunal praying for release of your dues please call me for more information
