Delay in Full and Final Settlement by employer

Good morning sirs. I got properly relieved from my current company which is a private pan level india Company. I have serviced my notice period and got my relieving order too. Its been 27 days after getting relieved i am still unpaid of my final settlement. Can I file a claim for this? How to do this in procedure... Please help me

It is not clear that how long you worked for your previous employer and what are the dues. It is better to send a legal notice claiming all the dues in a reasonable time. If they fail to do so, then you may consider legal action against them.

In case you are a workman you can file application before Labour court for settlement of your terminal benefits by detailing the reliefs after serving a legal notice calling upon them to settle your terminal benefits. After receiving response from employer further action may be taken. Sankaran
