Consequences of breaking mployment Bond

I started working in an organisation in the month of June 2018. At the time of offering the employment they had asked me to sign a bond for 18 months. The bond was for working for a period of 18 months or pay for the period that you have not worked. I left the company after 1 month. Now the company have sent me a legal notice through a lawyer for payment of Rs. 10 Lakhs and threatening arbitration and going to court regarding the matter. I do not need any relieving letter or full and final settlement from the company. What are my options under this case. And suppose the company goes ahead and appoints an arbitrator, who bears the fees of the arbitration and what are the chances that I have to pay the company ?
Pls clarify what kind of job u were doing, if it is know how technology than we have to use legal tecties. U have to reply legal notice within period. Pls fix meeting with me alongwith ur appointment letter, copy of bond. Best legal remedy will be provided to u. Don't worry these type of bonds are arbitrary illegal and void. But u have to face court . Don't delay take it serious , delay defeat the Justice.
