company threatening to pay them back if I resign from the company

I joined the a company as a software developer having a bind of 3 years or 5 lac, after serving 1 yr. I have resigned from the company, now the thing is I've not signed any kind of legal bond on stamp paper still they are threatening me that if you won't pay we will sue you, either serve the term else pay the bond, I just have signed the appointment letter only not any kind of bond duly on stamp paper.so will I still be considered in bond if not then what to say to company to release me, plz help I'm in deep trouble.

It depends on your agreement signed at the time of joining the Company. If you are binding to work for three years then you should work for the said period or pay Rs 5 lakhs as compensation. Other wise you can send a notice regarding your originals. What ever it may be we should know agreement between you and your company before giving proper guidance.
