Hi, I worked with pharma company from Jan 2000 to Dec 2003 , Total experience of 4 years. They refused to give experience certificate. There HR said that as per there policy they cant keep documents more then 7 year and we cant give experience letter for employee worked 14 year back. They shared details and confirmed at my personal mail that from this year to this year i worked with organization. what will be the solution ? i have company offer letter and resignation acceptance letter as Hard copy.
Your experience letter is a matter of right. Their reasons are merely technical. It is a matter of getting through the red-tapism within the organization. It can be achieved with a little persistence and legal help.
You may use this email on an informal basis to showcase that you worked in that organization for the said period. Further you can have a formal communication with the organization that in case they are asked to confirm your experience (by any new company which you will be joining in future) which you had over there via any means then to do so. All companies tries to confirm the job experience stated in the resume from the previous employer. Their mere confirmation that you were there for that period will work for you coupled with the documents which you have with yourself.
