Company is not giving experience letter because I signed Non-compete

I served my notice period and given all the handovers but company is now saying that I have signed NDA which includes clause that I can't join any competitor for 18 months but the haven't mentioned name of competitors in clause but I have already named them a different because I know whatever company name I will they will say the same thing.
Although they have sent me an email on last day that F&F will happen after 45 days so should i wait and will there be any issue with non-compete?

In order for me to make a comment upon that I need to see your contract with that company and the NDA as well. However, it is pertinent to note that if you can prove that the company you've joined is not a competitor, you can retaliate by sending a Legal Notice for withdrawal of their Email. You may consult me in that regard.
