Company is asking me to resign

08-Jan-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
Hello i am working as an intern in an organization for 5 months. They told me that my performance was not good and now they are asking me to resign. But there is a bond of 1 year of Rs1 lakh. I told my manager to give me in writing that if i send the resignation then i don't have to pay the bond amount but they are not cooperating and telling me that he will send a WhatsApp message in which he will say that i don't have to pay any bond if i resign. So should i accept that and submit my resignation? Or Should i ask for a official email?

Hello you can write a letter to your director and HR head that you are being compelled to submit resignation for a non performance issue but not releiving you from the employment bond. Thereafter you can send a legal notice to safeguard yourself from future liability.

Hi

you should ask for a official email from company side in which your HR will be included so that the matter will be in knowledge of the company and they will not demand any bond amount afterwards.

Hence, taking this precaution will be a great help for you in future as we can't say what is in the mind of other person.
